Connect Payroll

After embedding the Employer Flow, you connect the employer's payroll engine. This enables automatic census sync, quoting with real payroll data, and deduction management.

Entry point

The flow always starts the same way, regardless of payroll engine:

1. Employer clicks "Import from Payroll" in the employer iframe
2. The iframe fires a benbase-embed.authorize-start event with an organizationId

Your event listener (set up in Embed Employer Flow) catches this event. From here, the integration steps differ depending on which payroll engine the employer uses.
